Finally we will take you to the infamous Sand Bar, a collection of treasures beneath an old desert bridge.

Painted Gorge, located on the eastern side of the Coyote Mountains, consists of sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks. Heat and movement over time have created fantastic shapes and colors. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR TOUR!

  • Please call to confirm 2 hours before your booked tour. If you're doing an early morning tour, you're welcome to call the night before.
  • Please bring 6-8 waters per person, Gatorades, snacks, and backpacks to carry them in. Tennis shoes minimum, hiking boots better, boots best. Long pants, long-sleeve, light-colored shirts, and sunblock. Make sure to eat beforehand. Bring something to post under The Sandbar shrine, like a t-shirt, hat, poster, sticker, or memorabilia from your ride, and a Sharpie to sign your name.
  • All units subject to availability. Please make sure to bring valid Driver's Licenses for all adults 18 years of age and older, and all credit/debit cards that were used for payment.
